Mike Laughlin is Co-Owner and Broker Associate of River Island Real Estate. Mike is a 34-year Springville resident who has been responsible for real estate sales in excess of $50 million including ranch properties, citrus groves, residential and commercial developments. Mike brings a vast knowledge of the area and development knowledge to the River Island Real Estate team. Mike has served as president or board member on numerous local board including the Orange Belt Board of Realtors, almost every water irrigation company in the Springville area, and the Porterville Civic Development Foundation. Mike enjoys traveling in his motor home and visiting every golf course he can find. He is currently the President-Elect for the U.S. Golfing Fellowship of Rotarians.

Kelly fell in love with Springville and the Sequoia Mountains in 1988 when her family moved here. It was a dream of her father's to live here when he performed in the Rodeo in 1949. She has been involved in Real Estate investment since 1985 with several rental properties of her own including one she completed building in 2005 with a view of Dennison, her favorite mountain. She has recently moved here to the country from Napa for the amazing views and to be closer to her family. With the expertise of the River Island Real Estate team she looks forward to helping others enjoy a wonderful life here in the stunning Sequoias. Portia enjoys being with family and friends. She recently retired from a teaching career at Porterville College. Portia and her husband Mike, have been married over forty years They have two married sons, and five grandchildren. They raised their boys in the California Hot Springs area where Mike worked as a deputy for the Tulare County Sheriff Department. They returned to Porterville in 1988 and have been active in the community since that time. Her real estate goals are to provide excellent service to her customers and the community. She considers working as a real estate agent a privilege and with the expertise of the River Island Real Estate Team looks forward to helping others meet their real estate needs. Clara has been a resident of Porterville since 1967. She attended and graduated from college with a degree in Business Administration. She accepted a position as a purchasing agent with Beckman Coulter, a global medical manufacturing company. After 42 years of service, Clara retired in July 2009. Continuing to be motivated, Clara pursued her long time interest in real estate. Clara enjoys working with people and looks forward to helping central valley families fullfil their dreams in buying or selling of real estate. She is especially excited about her decision to join the professional team at River Island Real Estate.
Clara has been married to her husband Rod since 1970. Craig, their only child, resides in Visalia and owns Sierra Bicycle Shop on Main Street Visalia. Clara and her husband's interests include: walking, water sports, traveling in their recently purchased motorhome with their dogs, Moly and Benjamin. Clara also enjoys taking pictures of nature and her dogs.
